Nova Scotia Cannabis Retail License

The Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation (NSLC) is the only authorized retailer of recreational cannabis in Nova Scotia. Cannabis can only be purchased by adults 19 years of age or over at designated NSLC stores or online. In order to access the online store, a physical NSLC storefront must first be visited with valid identification showing proof of age and to receive an online access code.

Currently, the NSLC sells recreational cannabis in 12 physical storefronts that are located in population hubs in the province. The NSLC has plans to add 14 additional retail stores which will be renovated to start selling cannabis products, with some locations ready by fall of 2020 and all by the end of March 2021. More information on cannabis is Nova Scotia can be found here.
