Market Overview - Cannabis in Nevada

Nevada has a well established cannabis market with consumption lounges on the table for 2022 and a simple, transparent Nevada cannabis licensing process. On November 8, 2016, Nevada voters passed the Regulation and Taxation of Marijuana Act legalizing the purchase, possession, and consumption of adult-use cannabis for adults 21 and older. In 2018, the Nevada Department of Taxation began overseeing Nevada cannabis licensing and operating procedures for retail cannabis stores with more than $554 million in medical and recreational sales through the end of 2020. According to data from the state, Recreational marijuana sales in Nevada surpassed the $1 billion mark for the fiscal year 2021. Cannabis Consumption Lounges have been approved under AB341 in the 81st Session of the Nevada State Legislature and authorized by the Nevada Cannabis Compliance Board (CCB). The state remains full of opportunities for new Nevada cannabis licenses given the massive tourism market of Las Vegas and overall low financial barriers to entry which ranks this state high on the list of growing markets in the US.

Brian and Kalpna at Cannabis License Experts were very pleasant, informative, and knowledgeable regarding licensing. They helped us fill out all the forms needed and guided us through the entire process. I am sure that without their guidance our application would still be in process, or have been dismissed because of some missing information.
